The Block brings a fresh approach and great coffee to Westfield Doncaster. Long, narrow and spacious one can just drop in conveniently and enjoy a great coffee! Love the decor! Love how it integrates with the shopping experience! Love how its also a haven for those caffeine cravings!

The Block is the second Coffee Hit in the Centre. There are so many cafes in this place that one could be confused about where to go... I had always rated the original Coffee Hit in the Centre as serving great coffee and wondrous latte art... Still do!

These guys actually roast themselves and are super serious about coffee! Coffee Hit are like Melbourne coffee royalty! Their website says they 'are the brainchild of Melbourne caffeine addicts that were looking for great and easily accessible coffee beans.' One can identify with that! They offer some great online deals also! Right now there appears 7 great blends on their site!

Visited with the kids and turned it into a family experience. I loved my creamy latte! The kids loved their hot chocolates. The chocolate slice was amazing - layers of chocolate to satisfy chocolate addicts (methinks I am both a chocolate and coffee addict). And a delightful macaroon to boot...

My kids started to unpack and assemble their toys at our table. As kids do! Had to make sure we didn't leave a pile of wrapping and rubbish! (Placed it back in the shopping bag I promise!) But the hot chocolates were so compelling my kids managed to both consume and assemble! And we all attacked the chocolate slice!

Service was sensational with friendly passionate baristas... These guys are skillful and knowledgeable! In fact service was exceptional with staff asking for feedback as we were consuming - love that!

Having travelled around Australia and visited major shopping towns - there appears to be none better than Westfield Doncaster. It's important the coffee here is first class to complement such a great shopping experience!
