This cafe is famous for its excellent crepes and galettes. This is French through and through. The crepes are creative including pear, chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Or try a simple lemon crepe or some rasberry coulis. These crepes come folded over.

The galettes made with buckwheat flour are the savoury version and are also super popular. Meat, vegetables, gourmet ingredients and piles of melted cheese. The food is simple but so good.

The Croque Monsieur is a classic French dish that is popular at Creperie Le Triskel. It comes with plenty of melted cheese on top as well as inside the bread, along with quality ham.

Hear the wait staff speaking to each other in French. Check out the French magazines and books and posters. You will feel like you're in France. The manager is a cool French guy who exudes passion for hospitality and great food.

Creperie Le Trikel is a superb place to meet with friends. The ambience in the restaurant is upbeat and charming. A great spot is along the window looking out onto Hardware Lane. The cluster of tables outside are also great fun.

The sign says "arrogantly French" - which I enjoy - but I found the staff to be friendly and engaging. The waitress chatted to me in a busy cafe and pointed at a large map on the wall to show me which part of France the Croque Monsieur hailed from.

The "how to order in French" sign at the counter is a classic.

For a feel good French experience I highly recommend Creperie Le Triskel. With some of the cool serious venues around it's great to get some french joy in Hardware Lane. Magnifique!
