Some of the best fish and chips and seafood delights in Melbourne! And let’s face it – we all need a great fish and chippery. Hooked is more than just a fish and chippery offering refined seafood choices! There are several Hooked restaurants in Melbourne and hoping for more. What a find! As we wandered down Brunswick Street after spending a few hours for brunch at The Bell Jar we didn’t really need any more food… But when we spotted Hooked and walked in for a curious look, we had to indulge!

Love it! The quality is amazing! We ordered a couple of the calamari lunch box and it was sensational! Had to order another! The calamari weren’t cooked as rings but large pieces – prefer that! Perfectly cooked! Fresh as! Ticks all the boxes when it comes to chips – that’s important! Great thick cut chips! Hooked offers sweet potato chips which is very cool!

We sat at the large communal table and felt this place has a real vibrancy. Love the vibe. Great for families. Hooked on Chapel St is the perfect location and the high standards of excellence suit the precinct.
