Great lunchtime haven in the CBD! Compared to noodle houses in Tokyo! Having been to Tokyo I can say this place is simple but rates! Ramen is the word! Chinese noodles and broth! If you’re looking for value then O-Bento is a wonderful option!

With Don Don around the corner and almost unbeatable for value, O-Bento delivers clean flavours of Japanese meals in huge portions with many at under $10. I love the Terriyaki Chicken Don packed full of flavour with noodles and rice! Generous portion of vegetables and comes in a huge takeaway container if that’s your fancy! Have enjoyed this option several times…

The Curry Don is also recommended, as is the Pizza (gyoza dumplings), Pork or Prawn Ramen and a spectacular Fried Rice. The restaurant itself is small and narrow in Melbourne Central but always seems to be packed! Especially with Uni students!
