Bang & Olufsen, one of the leading luxury home entertainment brands recently opened their Australian flagship sensory store on Russell St, Melbourne. The store, which is a celebration of movement, signature acoustics and minimalist design, spans 381 square meters and is the fourth largest of its kind globally. The World Loves Melbourne was invited along to experience this groundbreaking entertainment centre. We were "wowed" by the set up here!

The flagship store showcases the Bang & Olufsen range through unique and interactive displays, allowing customers to engage with the high-end entertainment products. The breakout spaces include an interactive speaker wall with 17 different speakers hidden behind revolving baffles that hide when not in use. This is the largest interactive speak wall in the country.

Hidden away in the corner of the Bang & Olufsen store is a dedicated listening room for the company's BeoLab 90 speakers, with a retail price of well over $100,000! The soundproofed room has its audio run by a BeoSound Moment tablet, demonstrating the 91 year old company's unique designs.

“The sensory flagship isn’t just a retail space, it’s a way to experience and share the Bang & Olufsen story with our customers. Since inception, we have built a culture of enterprising creativity, and as a brand we continue to adopt an avante-guard approach to style, form and function. The new sensory store is a true testament to this,” Kipping said.
