Nutella popup creators bring Ice-Cream Donut popup to Melbourne's The Strand
The City Lane, creators of the popular Nutella popup, are bringing Melbournians the perfect way to get through their Christmas shopping: an Ice-Cream Donut popup.
The ice-cream donut sandwiches will come in Peanut Butter and Crispy Dark Chocolate, Turkish Delight Cheesecake, and Orange and Cardamom varieties, with each designed especially for the popup by Lauren Kristoff, expert creator of The City Lane's legendary Nutella S'mores. The popup will also offer matching beers from East Brunswick-based Temple Brewery including the New World Order American Stout, the Rye Hard IPA and the Bicycle Summer Ale.
'After the overwhelming success of the Nutella popup, we knew we wanted to do something big and we knew we wanted to do it in summer,' said The City Lane founder and Editor-in-Chief, Paul Kristoff, 'and when Lauren started creating these ice cream flavours, it all started to fall in place.'
The City Lane Ice-Cream Donut popup will be open 10:30am to 10:30pm for 3 days only from Friday the 18th until Sunday the 20th of December, in a newly-created space at The Strand on Driver Lane, just next to H&M in Melbourne's CBD.
