We Feed You Healthy Meals are an excellent ready made meal service designed by a chef and dietician, delivering meals around Melbourne. The World Loves Melbourne was invited to try a selection of We Feed Me meals over a week.
The meals, designed to help you live your best life are borne of the desire to encourage busy people to eat well and healthily through the working week and over the weekend.
We found We Feed You ticked the boxes of delicious meals that are convenient and also healthy. FODMAP friendly foods! They also have excellent gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options.
Another great feature is that We Feed You uses fresh, local and seasonal produce; in sync with our own foodie philosophy.
One of our favourites the Indian Lamb Curry (above and below). Served with Cauliflower Rice and Fresh Mint. Delicious.
The meals arrived in a cardboard box with insulation and ice packs so they were kept frozen. As they explain frozen meals are an age old way of storing food and keep the freshness. It was easy for us to pop each meal in our chest freezer ready to g
While we used We Feed You meals for planned and structured meals we also used them for spontaneous occasions where say one of our kids felt hungry and grabbed a meal from the freezer. Such is the convenience. Just pop in the microwave and heat for 6-7 minutes. They passed our "family friendly" test.

We started off heating the meals then putting them into dinner bowls and plates but soon just elected to eat the meals straight out of their original packets.
There is skill and pedigree behind the scenes. Chef Dave Roberts - who also works with Frank Camorra at MoVida - and Charlotte Miller, a qualified chef and dietitian who has worked for high-end private catering clients and advises sporting organisations on their dietary choices for their athletes - are behind the meal selection from concept to cooking and packaging.
Smokey Chipotle Chicken was another favourite; packed with flavour, tender chicken and we enjoyed the fresh quinoa, capsicum and coriander. Image We Feed You.
I understand that things are first class in the kitchen and that everything is made from scratch. No short cuts is a good thing!

-Moroccan Chicken w/ Quinoa, Green Olives, Tomato & Lemon
-Indian Lamb Curry w/ Cauliflower Rice & Fresh Mint
-Satay Lemongrass Pork w/ Green Beans & Brown Rice
-Thai Green Coconut Curry w/ Veggies & Brown Rice
-Chinese Spiced Lamb w/ Green Veggies, Peanuts, Brown Rice
-Middle Eastern Beef w/ Goats Cheese, Veggies & Rice
-Smokey Chipotle Chicken w/ Quinoa, Capsicum & Coriander
Our favourite meal was the Middle Eastern Beef which became a family favourite. Excellent tasty Middle Eastern flavours! Beef infused with sumac, cinnamon and coriander, topped with goat’s cheese, green beans, fresh mint and parsley.
Other highlights were the Smokey Chipotle Chicken, Chinese Spiced Lamb and the Indian Lamb Curry.
We found the "meat to rice" ratio to be excellent. The portions are decent, some around 400g, which is first class for an individual meal.
The vegetarian options are excellent including the Thai Green Coconut Curry which featured a quality range of vegetables
Prices are also reasonable with many meals around $10-$14 mark.
Compared to some other companies we felt We Feed You has gone the extra mile in terms of planning and preparation and brings a gourmet touch while keeping the meals healthy.
