Stalactites & Hella Good Now Coeliac Australia Accredited

Stalactites and Hella Good are excited to be the nation’s first Greek restaurants to be accredited by Coeliac Australia. With over 1/4 million Australians living with coeliac disease, and many more on gluten-free diets, this will be welcome news for many Melbournians.

Almost everything on the Stalactites and Hella Good menus are now coeliac accredited, and the taste is indecipherable from the original.

Gluten free menus are available from both Stalactites and Hella Good now.

“Many people with coeliac disease haven’t eaten a souvlaki for years, so you can imagine how excited we are to be accredited by Coeliac Australia! We can’t wait to host them at both Hella Good and Stalactites restaurants,” says Nicole Papasavas, owner of Stalactites and Hella Good.

Nicole Papasavas says that the accreditation process by Coeliac Australia was a rigorous, extensive process that involves implementing new procedures and processes for sourcing, segregating and serving food as well as in depth education and training to ensure that there is no cross contamination or traces of gluten through the storage, preparation, and cooking steps of the meal delivery process.
