Epic Dinner at Robata Japanese Grill
We enjoyed an epic family dinner at Robata Japanese Grill in the Melbourne CBD to celebrate awesome Dan’s milestone birthday.
We loved it all including the mouthwatering Seared Salmon (ordered 2 servings), Chargrilled Asparagus (a surprise but beautifully cooked and presented), Tuna Tataki (stunning presentation and taste), and the sensational Chicken meatball, tare, cured yolk Yakitori (a must order that we ordered twice).
Chicken thigh Yakitori (another must order dish) was also a highlight, as was Pork Belly Kushiyaki, and personal favorite Black Opal Wagyu Kushiyaki (juicy tender Wagyu).
Chargrilled Swordfish hit the spot, Mount Macedon Cornfed Duck (yet another must order) was a showstopper, and Kurobuta Pork, Chargrilled corn, and Kipfler Potatoes were also highlights.
Beverage menu was impressive including the popular Kara-Garita spicy cocktail, the Okinawa Old Fashioned cocktail and the Yo Yogi Pale Ale.
