There are food destinations in Melbourne, and then there is Grazeland. A place where we believe there is something for everyone and gems to be discovered. Set in Spotswood at 20 Booker Street, Grazeland is one of those rare places that genuinely earns the word “destination” - a sprawling open-air food and entertainment precinct that brings together more than 50 street food vendors under one roof of sky, live music and big-screen energy. It is family-friendly, festive, and the kind of place that feels like a celebration regardless of the season. We’ve visited multiple times across summer, spring and now winter, and Grazeland never disappoints. This is our complete guide to dining at Grazeland Melbourne.
We first covered Grazeland at the Summer of Grazeland launch event and returned for the Season of Spritz - and the standard has only gone up.

What Is Grazeland Melbourne?
Grazeland is Melbourne’s ultimate open-air street food and entertainment precinct, bringing together 20-plus independent food vendors serving cuisines from across the globe. Think Turkish gozleme, Argentinean asado, Colombian arepas, Vietnamese noodles, wood-fired pizza, fresh seafood, Mexican tacos, Greek lokmades and much more - all in one buzzing, festive space with live entertainment running alongside. There are two live music stages, big screens, craft bars and an atmosphere that makes every visit feel like a festival.
Grazeland is open year-round and shifts beautifully with the seasons - spritzes and skyline views in summer, hearty smoked meats and warming soups in winter. It is genuinely one of the most exciting and accessible food experiences in Melbourne, and it punches well above its weight on quality. Every vendor is passionate about their craft, and that shows on the plate.
The Grazeland Vendors: Our Guide to What to Order
With 50-plus vendors on site, strategy helps. Here is our vendor-by-vendor guide based on multiple visits, with honest picks on what to order.
Anatolia Tantuni & Gozleme — Authentic Turkish Street Food

Anatolia Tantuni & Gozleme is a must-visit within Grazeland and one of the standout vendors on site. They serve authentic Turkish tantuni (a spiced, slow-cooked meat wrap popular on the streets of Mersin) alongside freshly made gozleme — the thin, crispy Turkish flatbread stuffed and cooked to order on a griddle. The gozleme here is exceptional; the Chicken Cheese & Mushroom Gozleme ($15.90 on the Winter Feed deal) is golden, satisfying and completely made from scratch. Turkish street food at its most genuine.
Bun Tessa — Vietnamese Noodles & Soups
Bun Tessa brings the soul of Vietnamese street cooking to Grazeland with noodle soups, rice paper rolls and fresh, herb-driven flavours. The cold rolls (rice paper rolls) are superb — we ordered a combo with three different varieties, each served with a punchy dipping sauce that elevated the whole experience. The soups are warming, aromatic and generously portioned. This is the kind of food that feels light, bright and completely craveable.
Churroland — Delicious Hot Churros

Churroland is a Grazeland institution. The churros are made fresh, hot and dusted just right — order them with the chocolate dipping sauce and you’ve got one of the simplest and most satisfying desserts available anywhere in Melbourne. On the Winter Feed deal you get a 3-pack with dipping chocolate for just $8. Non-negotiable.
Claw & Tail — Prawn Rolls & Lobster Rolls

Claw & Tail is pure seafood indulgence done right. The Asian King Prawn Roll ($17) is fresh, generous and great value — the prawn filling is substantial and sits beautifully in a soft brioche roll. But the lobster roll is on another level entirely. Decadent, spectacular, and the kind of thing you'll think about afterwards. If you’re going to splash out at Grazeland, this is where to do it. Also worth noting that on busier sessions the queue can build — get in early.
Colombiantojos — Colombian Street Food, Home of the Arepa

Colombiantojos brings some of the most vibrant South American flavours to Grazeland. The empanadas — beef and potato — are excellent; crispy pastry with a filling that is properly seasoned and satisfying. The cheese arepa is a classic Colombian staple done well, and the Winter Feed deal pairs it with a Colombian drink for $16. A genuinely underrated stop on the Grazeland circuit.
Del Mar Calamari — Fresh Calamari with Nonna’s Secret Recipe

Del Mar’s salt and pepper calamari ($18) is one of life’s simple pleasures done with real craft. The calamari is fresh, the batter light and seasoned beautifully, and a squeeze of lemon takes it to exactly the right place. This is one of those dishes that reminds you good cooking doesn’t need to be complicated — it just needs to be done with care. Some of the best calamari going around in Melbourne, full stop.
El Gaucho — Argentinean BBQ

El Gaucho is one of the most visually impressive vendors at Grazeland — their asado setup (the traditional Argentinean open-fire grill) is a genuine spectacle, with meats slow-cooking over flame in full view. The steak sandwich with chips ($16) is off the charts: the meat is melt-in-your-mouth tender, flavoursome and beautifully cooked. The empanadas are also excellent. El Gaucho is top-notch in every sense and consistently one of the standout performers across all our visits. On the Winter Feed deal, the Choripan & Chips ($16) is also a must.
El Taco — Authentic Mexican
El Taco serves top-notch tacos with proper Mexican flavour — no fusion shortcuts, just solid, authentic street taco cooking. The nachos ($16 on the Winter Feed deal) are a generous, crowd-pleasing option and great for sharing. If you love Mexican street food done with integrity, El Taco delivers.
Flame Skewers & Flying Noodles — Melbourne’s Famous Flying Noodles

One of the most theatrical and fun vendors at Grazeland. The “flying noodles” are a Grazeland spectacle in themselves — hand-pulled noodles that are genuinely entertaining to watch being made. But it’s the skewers that keep us coming back: flame-cooked, well-seasoned and deeply satisfying. Skewer bliss, as we’ve called it before.
Lokma Lokma — Famous Greek Lokmades

Lokmades are the Greek answer to doughnuts — small, pillowy, deep-fried and drizzled with syrup. Lokma Lokma makes them properly and they are a must-order at Grazeland. The original pack of 8 with maple syrup and cinnamon sugar ($9 on the Winter Feed deal) is an absolute bargain and one of the best sweet finishes on site. These are dangerously good.
Lucky Little Dumplings — Freshly Made Chinese Dumplings

Lucky Little Dumplings makes their dumplings fresh on site — and it shows in the texture and flavour. These are dumplings of genuine note: thin-skinned, well-filled and cooked with care. The Beef Noodle Soup ($16 on the Winter Feed deal) is a winter revelation — warming, deeply flavoured and exactly what you want when the temperature drops at Spotswood.
Mattarello Pizza — Wood-Fired Pizzeria

Mattarello Pizza uses a wood-fired oven, a sourdough base and organic spelt flour - and the results are outstanding. The Capricciosa ($19) is top-notch, with the flavours and char you only get from a genuine wood oven. The pepperoni is magnificent. The Margherita ($16 on the Winter Feed deal) is the perfect litmus test - simple, pure and executed beautifully. We’ve had five pizzas from Mattarello across our visits and haven’t had a dud. One of Melbourne’s better wood-fired pizza experiences, and it’s at a food market in Spotswood.
Metro Bar — Drinks & More

Metro Bar is located near Grazeland’s second live stage and big screen - which makes it prime real estate for the entertainment-focused visitor. The wines are great value (Jam Shed wine at $10 is a solid pick) but Metro also serves top-shelf spirits. We ordered a double shot Woodford Reserve bourbon and it was perfectly poured - a proper whiskey option in a food market context, which is rarer than it should be. Craft beer, Guinness and wine by the glass are all available.
Mr Toum — Lebanese Street Food

Mr Toum’s Lebanese street food is top-notch. Named for the legendary Lebanese garlic sauce that finds its way into everything good, Mr Toum serves chicken wraps, shawarma and other Middle Eastern staples with real flavour and generous serves. The chicken wraps are crowd-pleasers for good reason.
New Orleans — Southern Fried Chicken

New Orleans serves incredible Southern fried chicken with proper Cajun seasoning - the kind of fried chicken that has crunch, heat and depth all at once. Get the tenders or the wings; both are exceptional. This is not fast food fried chicken - this is the real thing, seasoned with care and cooked fresh. One of our standout picks at Grazeland.
Oceania — Fish & Seafood
Oceania does a great job on their fresh fish and chips and broader seafood options. The fish is properly fresh and the batter is light — a solid, reliable option for seafood lovers. The Fish Burger with Chips ($16 on the Winter Feed deal) is excellent value. Also worth noting that they pack the boxes well, which matters when you’re eating on the go.
Que Rico! Paella — Authentic Spanish Paella

Que Rico! brings a proper Spanish paella to Grazeland and does it with real generosity - the seafood paella is loaded with a serious amount of seafood, cooked in a traditional pan and full of saffron-rich flavour. Paella done right is a treat, and Que Rico! does it right. A crowd-drawing vendor for good reason.
Smokeworks — BBQ’d and Smoked Meats
Smokeworks is proper BBQ - slow-cooked, smoke-kissed and deeply satisfying. The smoked meats here are the real deal: brisket, ribs and pulled options that have been given the time and care they deserve. If you love low-and-slow BBQ culture, Smokeworks is your stop at Grazeland. This is not approximated BBQ - it is the genuine article.

Winter at Grazeland — The Winter Feed Deal

Winter at Grazeland is its own experience - the warmth of live entertainment, the glow of the food stalls and the comfort of hearty winter food from across the globe make it an excellent cold-weather outing. Big screens add another layer to the experience, whether it’s sport, special events or visuals that amplify the atmosphere. Metro Bar sits right next to the second live stage, making it the ideal spot to settle in with a drink and let the evening wash over you. The combination of great food, live music and a genuinely festive crowd makes Grazeland feel like a continuous party - in the best possible sense.
Is Grazeland Family Friendly?

Absolutely. Grazeland is one of the best family dining experiences in Melbourne. The open layout, the variety of food options, the relaxed atmosphere and the entertainment make it an ideal outing for parents and kids alike. Children are mesmerised by the theatre of vendors like Flame Skewers & Flying Noodles, the sweet stalls, and the live music. The food variety means even the fussiest eaters find something they love. We’ve seen everything from date nights to birthday groups to grandparents with grandchildren all thriving at Grazeland simultaneously — that kind of broad appeal is genuinely rare.

Practical Tips for Your Grazeland Visit
• Arrive with a plan but stay flexible. With 50-plus vendors it is easy to wander without eating well. Our advice: walk the full precinct first, then decide.
• Share everything. Grazeland is made for grazing — order multiple things across multiple vendors and share with your group rather than each person ordering one dish.
• Bring your own glass. Plastic cups are standard at some vendors; BYO glass is worthwhile if you’re a wine drinker who cares about the experience.
• Use the Winter Feed deal. $25 for a savoury dish and a sweet treat from participating vendors is exceptional value.
• Get to Claw & Tail early. The lobster roll sells out. Do not risk it.
• Plant yourself near the second stage. Metro Bar + live music + big screen is the sweet spot for a long, leisurely Grazeland session.
• Grazeland is all-weather. Covered areas and the festive indoor energy make it a great option even in Melbourne’s unpredictable winter.
