HUXTABURGER HITS POPULAR GLENFERRIE ROAD, HAWTHORN WITH STORE NUMBER FOUR

The Northside trio behind popular local burger brand, Huxtaburger, is excited to announce the opening of its fourth site, 681 Glenferrie Road, which will be the first for Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs, placed within the restored Lido Cinema Centre.

Huxtaburger Hawthorn will have street frontage to bustling Glenferrie Road - as an integral part of the upcoming $5.5 million eight screen Lido Cinemas, set to open in June 2015 that will also feature an open air rooftop cinema.

Hawthorn Huxtaburger will be the first for Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs, placed within the restored Lido Cinema Centre. 

Chef Daniel Wilson has observed the evolution of Glenferrie Road over the last few years, and is confident that Hawthorn is the right location for the fourth instalment of the popular burger brand.     

In celebration of the opening, Huxtaburger Hawthorn goers will have the exciting opportunity to meet Huxtaburger partner and Huxtable head chef Daniel Wilson, if they make it to the store on opening day on May 15!

It is also ideally located in proximity to Swinburne University and the Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre, ensuring an energetic atmosphere and plenty of foot traffic.

Lido Centre owner Eddie Tamir is looking forward to having Huxtaburger on site, enthusing that the burger brand “absolutely connects with all the exciting elements that Hawthorn is and will be”.

Having observed the evolution of Glenferrie Road over the last few years, Huxtaburger partner and Huxtable head chef Daniel Wilson is also confident that Hawthorn is the right location for the fourth installment.

“It is a great fit for Huxtaburger; being a vibrant Melbourne hotspot, but one that’s retained some of its eccentricities and old-school charm over the years.”, says Daniel.

Huxtaburger Hawthorn will open its doors on Friday 15 May.

 

Huxtaburger Hawthorn will be open from 11am – 10pm, Sunday to Thursday and from 11am -11pm on Friday and Saturday.
