Bendigo Getaway Experience with The Schaller Studio and Toni Maticevski
Bendigo offers a stunning getaway experience for the tourist, notably those travelling under 2 hours from Melbourne. It's not far to enjoy a gold class experience. The World Loves Melbourne was invited to imbibe The Schaller Stay and See experience which combines accomodation at the fun and funky The Schaller Studio as well as tickets to the superb Toni Maticevski Dark Wonderland exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery.
In partnership with the Bendigo Art Gallery, The Schaller Studio have created the perfect package for art and fashion lovers alike, offering the chance to escape to Bendigo and experience this exciting new exhibition. We enjoyed lunch at The Pantry cafe at The Schaller Studio then were given a bottle of decent Pinot Noir, which we consumed on the balcony of the room.
The Schaller Studio is part of the Art Series Group of hotels and every piece of art is an original from talented artist Mark Schaller. You feel inspired walking around the hotel admiring the art and modern creative vibe. Staff were super friendly and passionate about what they do. they even booked us dinner in town and gave us great travel suggestions.
The Toni Maticevski Dark Wonderland exhibition at Bendigo Art Gallery is a must see. Surely one of the hottest fashion designers in the country this was an extensive, fascinating and inspiring collection. Sone of the gowns and dresses are jaw dropping and the use of multi media first class. We spent a couple of hours there; initially expecting maybe a couple of rooms of dresses but it's much more than that. You can still get on to this great deal and experience a magical couple of days or so in Bendigo, a beautiful Victorian regional city.
This is just a few examples of the treasure trove of delights at the exhibition.
The price of the deal for what you get is amazing! We had such a great time and also enjoyed some of the other restaurants, cafes and attractions of Bendigo. Get on it!
