Style at 2018 Alfa Romeo Portsea Polo
The World Loves Melbourne was invited to experience fashionable 2018 Alfa Romeo Portsea Polo. Mild weather didn't dampen spirits as the event showed why it's the pick of summer fashion and style events. Only just over an hour from Melbourne it's possible to do it all in a day, whether driving down by car (in your Alfa Romeo preferably), catching the bus or by helicopter if lucky. The theme was Italian smart casual and punters embraced the theme in fine style.
A day where models, presenters, social media influencers, comedians, filmakers, artists - to name a few - came together for a fun and playful event and the prince of sports.
It's a day of finery and indulgence, with serious Polo competition! Fresh from the Spring Racing Carnival here was another chance to dress up and network.
Many chose white as their mainstay for outfits. Fashionistas included model Abbey Lee Kershaw. Other faces spotted the marquee included -
- Asher Keddie & Vincent Fantauzzo
- Tim Robards
- Carissa Walford
- Gracie Otto
- Clementine McVeigh
- Rozalia & Nick Russian
- Nadia Bartel

Alfa Romeo had the official naming rights sponsor for the second year, and the Australian debut of the all-new Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV headlined the event.
The annual event opened up Victoria’s sporting and social calendar for the year, as it’s known for combining the best in sport, fashion, food and the excitement of polo.
Over 400 VIP guests were hosted in the exclusive Alfa Romeo Marquee at the Portsea Polo for this spectacular summer event, including esteemed celebrities, media & influencers.
Bec and Marissa from Twice Blessed were extremely popular guests. We think they are more than twice blessed!
As one of the world’s most iconic car brands, Alfa Romeo is synonymous with passion and timeless style. The Alfa Romeo marquee design fused the forms and shapes of the Alfa Romeo logo with the colours, fabrics and silhouettes seen on the catwalk of Milan Fashion Week to create an event experience that truly brings to life the enduring attraction of the brand. And so who won the Polo? We're not sure!
