Qantas Winter Wine Festival
Qantas Winter Wine Festival was an awesome event where Qantas Frequent Flyer members and their guests were able to enjoy unlimited tastings of more than 250 different wines, spirits and Champagnes. The World Loves Melbourne was invited along (we are Qantas Frequent Flyer Memebrs also). We were also delighted to receive a goodie bag and a Riedel wine glass to use on the day and take home. Highlights included:
- A huge lineup of premium Australian wineries including Henschke (who won Wine of the Year last year), Penfolds, Brokenwood, d'Arenberg and Voyager Estate, to name just a few.
- Champagne Pommery - who showcased their new Pommery Blue Champagne, made to be served over ice.
- Four Pillars Gin - the team from the award-wining Yarra distillery brought their range of gins including the coveted Bloody Shiraz Gin.
- Deja Vu Sake - we could meet a Sake Samurai and sample Japanese sake and whiskies with Japanese-born Yukino Ochiai who is Australia's first female Sake Samurai - the highest distinction in the sake industry.
Qantas Wine has just rebranded (previously Qantas epiQure). Frequent Flyers can receive exclusive food & wine invitations, discount offers and earn Qantas Points through shopping online at qantaswine.com . Earning points for eating and drinking? Yes, please!
