Red Pepper has been an icon of Melbourne since 2006, delighting diners with it's authentic and affordable Indian food. Celebrate Christmas Day and New Year's at Red Pepper, who are open for both lunch and dinner. As well as A La Carte, Red Pepper will offer various specials. For example on Christmas Day they will have specials like Turkey Biryani and Indian pudding. With Jagjeet Kaur at the helm, Red Pepper is famous for its expert use of spices and traditional Indian flavours.

The Everleigh ‘The Black & White Ball’

For an extra sophisticated New Year’s Eve experience, The Everleigh will be holding ‘The Black & White Ball’ inspired by the vintage glamour of the 1960’s (à la Truman Capote). One ticket ($125pp) includes a Bellini on arrival, four cocktails, specially-curated by the award winning Everleigh team, accompanying snacks, pasta and a Champagne toast at midnight. They will be offering a New Year’s Eve Champagne and canapes ($50pp), perfect for those who want a more casual fare; and a celebratory three-course menu ($130pp) with Champagne and an amuse-bouche on arrival, the best way to live up the end of the year.

New Year Street Feasts

The streets and laneways of the Melbourne CBD will come alive with ‘New Year Street Feasts’, in a partnership between City of Melbourne, Melbourne Food & Wine Festival and the Victorian Government. Street Feasts presents seven outdoor dining precincts (Docklands, Fed Square, Flinders Lane East: Between Exhibition and Russell Street, Flinders Lane West: Between Russell and Swanston Street, Little Bourke Street, Little Collins Street, and Russell Place) that will offer guests an array of exciting New Year’s Eve festivities and menus from more than 30 premium venues. Ranging from a delicious Middle Eastern and Mediterranean feast at NOMAD, a fun Asian-inspired feed at Supernormal, a shared-style Spanish dinner at Bar Lourinhã and more.
