Winter in Melbourne luncheon at iconic Melba Restaurant in The Langham Melbourne was a delicious, innovative and sensory experience. We were invited along to the media launch, and it proved to be a memorable afternoon of conviviality and fine food and wine.

We were treated to a fabulous Seafood Harvest (including Lobster) as well as 3 new and exciting hotpot dishes, followed by more of their famous buffet (including Spice of India, Lobster special, Sushi and Sashimi, Roasts, Charcuterie, Salad Bar, Italian Pasta, Asian Street Food, Sweet Treats and more).
The hotpot culture in Melbourne is a phenomenon and the new winter offering included in the Melba buffet at The Langham is first class.
My favourites were the spicy Sichuan style Hot Pot with beef, and the Tom Yum Hot Pot featuring quality broth and seafood.
Fines wines and Bubble Tea also added to a memorable luncheon. Not to mention iconic views of Melbourne.
