Chinese New Year Dinner at Melba at The Langham

We were invited to enjoy a luxe affair for Chinese New Year at Melba restaurant in The Langham Melbourne last night, with a curated menu and breathtaking views.  Melba has delivered another spectacular Lunar New Year Celebration Dinner, which is available to the public from Feb 9-13.

This was a showcasing of an authentic Chinese New Year Menu prepared by talented Executive Chef Thomas Rappl and his team.

As in the past, this was an incredible and memorable night with many highlights including Yee Sang, Flying Gurnard Tempura California Maki, Steamed Barramundi with Ginger, Mongolian style Lamb bbq Skewers, Char Sui Quail, Chindian Biryani seafood fried rice, Braised Chinese Cabbage and much more.

Plus we had full access to the famous and award-winning international Melba Buffet. Personally I visited the high quality seafood and sushi station, as well as Indian curries, and the outstanding Roast station.
