Beer Deluxe has been re-launched with a new stunning beer garden and an expansion of its already comprehensive beer selection. The World Loves Melbourne was invited to the re-launch where beer luminaries and guests enjoyed a no expense spared celebration of the new facilities and beverages. Basically everything was on tap and flowing.
This new pub experience is set to excite Melbourne’s beer lovers and pub-goers with the launch of the city centre’s newest beer garden.
Beer DeLuxe is a refreshing return to what a traditional Aussie pub should be, right in the heart of Melbourne. Beer garden? Tick. Coldies on tap? Tick. Old fashioned pub grub? Tick.
Facing directly onto Flinders Street at Federation Square, the Beer DeLuxe beer garden meets a growing demand for an unpretentious, welcoming outdoor space to meet for drinks after work or before a big sports event.
Renowned for its impressive selection of beers, Beer DeLuxe is now one of a hand selected few venues in Melbourne to secure the rights to serve Carlton Draught fresh and unpasteurised beer on tap.
Purported by its makers as the next best thing to tasting it straight from the brewery, Beer DeLuxe will receive a weekly delivery of the purest of beers, pumped straight from the truck into three striking copper tanks installed in the very heart of the pub – a key feature of the pub’s re-design.
“Offering fresh and unpasteurised tank beer is uncommon practice in Melbourne’s pub scene – it requires a different model to your regular draught beer system. We’re proud to be pouring the best tasting beer, delivered untouched and unhandled straight from the brewery.
“Beer drinkers can now experience flavours of the freshest, smoothest and creamiest tasting beer – a taste that is often only experienced by the brewers themselves,” says Craig Shearer of Beer DeLuxe.

The re-launch featured high class paella served from three massive paella pans. The above paella included delectable chorizo and chicken and quality rice.
Beer Deluxe is known as a beer and burger haven with some 300 beers and a selection of outstanding dude food culinary options.
The World Loves Melbourne enjoyed a sea of canapes such as this pork belly. Beer and pork belly are a match made in heaven.
Setting the scene for long summer nights, the new Beer DeLuxe beer garden deck features ample timber seating and high tables, an outdoor bar and a climate-controlled decking that ensures all-year-round use.
With a 1,300 patron capacity, the re-launched venue is served by four bars (internal and external) and an upstairs burger lounge complete with alfresco dining. In true pub style, live bands perform regularly and the Beer DeLuxe kitchen serves up classic, delicious pub fare including matched food and beer options.
Techne Architects was appointed to deliver the venue’s re-design and new fit out.
Beer Deluxe has three of these tanks of Carlton Draught Fresh and Unpasteurised Tank Beer... The pipe system flowing from the tanks is an amzing sight in itself. I enjoyed sampling this beer at the re-launch.
The revamped Beer DeLuxe is located at Federation Square, and is open everyday from 11.30am. Beer DeLuxe Hawthorn is located at 329 Burwood Road, Hawthorn.
