Audi TT Launch at White Night Melbourne
Audi are taking all before them in the Australian luxury car market and The World Loves Melbourne was invited to drive the new Audi TT Coupe and attend the media launch at White Night Melbourne. Thanks to Audi, we were given a car to test drive and enjoy for the weekend. The new TT is stylish and sporty with Bauhaus lines and has plenty of power. The 2.0 turbocharged engine is not found wanting, as we discovered cruising down the Eastern Freeway. The controls were easy to use, including air conditioning, as were the set ups for navigation and media/radio. The World Loves Melbourne enjoyed the sporty bucket seats that wrap around you, and the masculine lines on this model of the new Audi TT.
While we enjoyed the new Audi TT we elected to be chauffeured to the Audi launch rather than drive ourselves.
White Night Melbourne is an amazing event with around 500,000 people enjoying the incredible visual displays and activities around the city. The vibe and festivity is compelling.
The World Loves Melbourne (David and Samantha) was picked up by the chauffeur in an Audi Q7 and taken to Bistro Guillaume for a night of finery. We enjoyed connecting with Anna, Peter and Natalie from Audi (Peter was the technology expert on all things cars). The media guests of Lady Melbourne, The-F, Three Thousand, L'Officiel, Fairfax, and D'Marge, were compelling and fun company.

Bistro Guillaume impressed with Half a roasted chicken with Paris mash and chicken jus. A side salad was the perfect accompaniment. The World Loves Melbourne has attended a French cooking masterclass at Bistro Guillaume with Guillaume Brahimi on a previous occasion, and we understand this French maestro knows what to do with a chicken! Rustic French food at it's best.

A short walk to Alexandra Gardens and we checked out the launch with Audi TT on display with light and sound show that actually complemented White Night Melbourne and was part of the Festival. This was an artistic expression; an art array.

The World Loves Melbourne then enjoyed drinks with Audi at La Chinesca - the restaurant of Audi Ambassador Vince Fantauzzo. The World Loves Melbourne seconded the Audi rings from the dinner table at Bistro Guillaume, and imbibed a stunning Gin cocktail.

The Audi TT didn't look out of place at our Eastern suburbs residence. The World Loves Melbourne enjoyed a memorable night at the launch of the new Audi TT at White Night Melbourne.
