Rocks Brewing Group New Beer Infused Menu

RocksBrewery 6

With a new executive chef in town, the Rocks Brewing Group in Sydney is now venturing into a more creative, beer-infused menu that will blow your tastebuds. The World Loves Melbourne recently spent a long weekend in The Rocks Sydney.

Pete Cutliffe has designed and implemented a menu that caters for the all-round meat eater, the lighter eater and the sweet tooth in the group.

They've kept their sacred original items on the menu like the Rocks Poppers and beer battered onion rings. The most scared however, remains the Louisiana style hot wings, covered with a special hot sauce and served with creamy ranch.

They've dressed up the Rocks Signature Burger to have 200gm grilled wagyu, jack cheddar, crispy bacon and salad topped with mustard relish and served with thick cut beer bettered chips. One of the best burgers in Sydney!

After many inquiries about lighter options, there is an addition of meals all for those with a smaller appetite or watching the waist, as well as gluten-free meals. The honey roasted pumpkin and pearl couscous salad and a zucchini, fennel and green pea risotto are amongst the favourites.

The real crowd pleasers however, are the governor’s feasts; a shared plate with a preparation time of 45 minutes with an option to pre-order. There are three options: a 1.6kg free range beer can chicken, a 12 hour Boxer Porter braised lamb shoulder and the Cape Byron Tomahawk that is priced at $8 per 100gm. Spectacular.

For those that need a little sugar in their lives, Rocks Brewery has a baked Oreo cheesecake with salted peanut caramel, a Belgian waffle ice cream sandwich and a classic sticky fig pudding, all with the option to add Butcher Porter ice cream.
