Birdcage Oaks Day with LANDMARK by Lexus 2019
Oaks Day is a fabulous event on the Melbourne calendar and The World Loves Melbourne experienced the stunning LANDMARK by Lexus. The iconic glass facility featured a dynamic experience on all three levels including a Mecca refuel makeup bar for men and women on the ground floor, Bento boxes by Neil Perry and hot coals on the deck with the team from Ezy Peazy on the mid-level, and a breathtaking top floor which featured a restaurant by Oakridge and a stunning installation by Architect Koichi Takada.

Each level also featured a stunning floral installation by Joost Bakker. We arrived and were served G.H. Mumm champagne and canapes designed by Neil Perry. A Yakitori area outdoors from Eazy Peazy served up fabulous Japanese yakitori, the perfect food to enjoy the trackside action. We then received Oroton leather race books below at the lower level and made our way to the upstairs level for our lunch sitting.
Breathtaking elegant design.
Matt and Jo from Oakridge excelled themselves with a truly Australian themed luncheon using local produce.
We were amazed by the fit out from leading architects Koichi Takada and The World Loves Melbourne was thrilled to meet Koichi Takada and lunch as well as Georgia Wilson from the company. We admired the flowing linen which brought a warmth and unique style to the space.
