Celebrating Horse Bazaar Turning 10

The World Loves Melbourne was invited to celebrate 10 years of Horse Bazaar serving Melbourne delicious Izakaya food and cocktails and their new live music licence. We always love to celebrate the icons of our city still going strong 10 years later! Yelp Melbourne was involved in this intimate affair at Horse Bazaar and we appreciate their support for Melbourne bars and eateries.

Japanese-owned, Horse Bazaar is a fusion of visual arts, live music, specialty drinks, and ‘izakaya’ inspired soul food situated on Little Lonsdale. All their menu items are made from scratch with the freshest ingredients to ensure everything is oishii – that’s Japanese for delicious. Their bar is full and their seasonal drinks strong, like their famed Fumigroni which definitely packs a punch. Diplomatico Rum inspired cocktails on the night were an absolute winner and the perfect combination for a winters' night!

The bar and performance space boasts the world's first rear projection urinal (currently featuring a dancing Donald Trump) and a huge 20 metre digital canvas for art projections. Recently receiving a live music licence, they will be programming local and international performances so be sure to get out their schedule. At a time when local live music venues are getting rarer, it's fantastic news that Australia's music capital is getting another great space. The six piece ban The Largerphones were an amazing addition to the vibe of the night.

With video projection art, live music and tasty food these cold Melbourne winter nights are about to get a lot more fiery.
