The Tissot VIP NBA Viewing Party at QT Rooftop was simply epic. Melbourne as a sporting capital is crazy about basketball and NBA. The organisers went all out with a special event with NBA stars, celebs and influencers, a special court on the QT Rooftop, team caps, amazing food and wine and more.

Presented by TISSOT Australia and NBA Australia, NBA stars Andrew Bogut and Joe Ingles hosted an exclusive screening party of Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Cavs and the Warriors, at Rooftop at QT Melbourne for an epic morning.

A pre-game and half time panel discussion involving Andrew Bogut and Joe Ingles with NBA Australia media personalities Carlan Gay and Benyam Kidane was a highlight and gave a stunning insight into NBA basketball. Andrew Bogut spoke of the match day adjustments needed for game 1 of a finals series with all the press commitments. He spoke of the physicality of the contest and said it was part of a fierce finals series.
This was a crowd that loved their basketball. Passion for the game.
Canapes were top notch, enhancing the experience.

Both Bogut and Ingles have had personal experience playing alongside the Cavs and Warriors and were able to comment on strategies, and strengths and weaknesses first hand. It was a fascinating insight. As Andrew Bogut said, if LeBron James has a bad day the Cavs will probably lose but if Curry or Durant have a bad day there's a few other megastars who will punish you.

Team caps were supplied so we could show our support during the game. The crowd at QT Rooftop was getting into the game with cheering and banter. Right near us were Andrew Bogut and Joe Ingles watching the game at reserved tables - what a way for us to watch the game with these legends alongside us.
