Bomba Rooftop Re-Launch
Bomba Rooftop has relaunched after an extensive makeover. The World Loves Melbourne attended the relaunch party which unveiled a venue with double the capacity and an entirely fresh face. It's the place to be in a city that loves its rooftop bars.
Already a firm favourite amongst Melbourne locals and visitors, Bomba’s refreshed space provides the ultimate quintessential Melbourne bar experience, with a Spanish twist of course.
An amazing feature is a retractable roof! A space to be enjoyed in all conditions and seasons.
Focusing on their late night offering, revellers taking to the sky can expect an entirely new tapas menu, increased wine list and more beers available on tap.
OLA Architects o created the new space, which features open-air views across the vibrant city, an LED light installation and projection screen showcasing 1970’s Spanish inspired black and white films.
“We’re super excited for the next chapter at Bomba’s Rooftop Bar, it’s become a firm favourite destination for so many and the new space will amplify our offering and create a new vibe amongst the city’s rooftops, including a new additional urban outlook,” says Bomba co-director and executive chef Jesse Gerner.
Iconic Melbourne vibe only enhanced and reimagined with a copper bar a fabulous feature.
Stunning Bomba #2 cocktail for the launch celebration featuring lemon, mint, cucumber, Melbourne Moonshine Apple Pie House Made Ginger Beer.
Gin is a big focus of Bomba Rooftop with Australian and Spanish distillers.
Food includes snacks such as the famous Catalonian toasted sandwich, which we enjoyed at the launch.
Amazing projections.

Loving these taps at both ends of the bar.
The Rooftop Bar now has a much larger capacity for guests and provides the perfect pit-stop for pre or post dinner drinks and snacks, an afternoon or all-night session or the ultimate space for private functions.
Highly recommended.
