Australian Grand Prix 2019 Catering Launch Party
The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) has officially unveiled Atlantic Group, food&desire and GEMA Group as hospitality partners for the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix 2019. The World Loves Melbourne was invited along to the launch event at Carousel at Albert Park Lake. The event was inspirational, creative and a taste of what is to come.

Building on the premium experiences delivered at the event over the past 23 years, Atlantic Group, food&desire and GEMA Group provided guests with a preview of the reimagined food and entertainment that will be on offer at the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix 2019 on 14-17 March.
Incredible vibes on a perfect Melbourne evening, with views across the lake to the Melbourne cityscape.
Attended by over 400 guests, the evening featured all the glitz and glamour one would expect at a Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix event, including a ballerina ball, live illustrations by artist Mads Francis, a performance by Kate Ceberano, GH Mumm Sabrage, and a spectacular display of pyrotechnics.

Together with local celebrity chef Shane Delia, hospitality partners Atlantic Group, food&desire and GEMA Group introduced attendees to a preview of the food and beverage packages on offer at the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix 2019, including a Spring Garden Table of local produce, mini chicken liver parfait cones, an abundant oyster station, a braised pork hock and prawn with coriander salad and chili caramel, as well asa decadent dessert grazing table featuring coconut ‘Bounty’ balls and salted caramel tarts with meringue torched to order.

Spring Garden Table of local produce was simply stunning. When guests selected food from the table it was immediately replaced by wait staff.
