Mitchelton launches Airstream RV's experience in Nagambie

With travel restrictions easing, Victorians can relax on ‘cloud wine’ thanks to a brand-new set of stunning vintage-style Airstreams set to land at Mitchelton, Nagambie this December.

Seven full-size, sparkling-new Airstream RVs will adorn the Estate to offer a gorgeous stay for guests all year-round. Situated just a short stroll from the Mitchelton Hotel, guests who choose to stay in the Airstreams will have their own deck area with furniture and a barbecue – perfect for cosy nights in the great outdoors or a cooked breakfast treat at sunrise.

Martin Garrett, Mitchelton Hotel General Manager, explains, “Mitchelton isn’t just a winery – we have an incredible Estate in the heart of the Nagambie region which is ripe for exploring. The Mitchelton Airstream Hotel can help do just that – take our guests into the heart of nature for an experience like no other.”

Guests will also have full access to everything on offer at the Estate, including the Gallery of Aboriginal Art, which is Australia’s largest commercial gallery dedicated to indigenous art, and features some of the largest works produced by some of Australia's most revered Indigenous artists.

The Day Spa, swimming pool and gym facilities will also be open to Airstream guests, offering excellent relaxation opportunities. For those looking for a memorable dinner, The Muse Restaurant will welcome guests for modern farmhouse cuisine inspired by fresh local produce from the Nagambie region.

A stay at Mitchelton Airstream Hotel wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the Cellar Door, recognised by Gourmet Traveller Wine as one of Australia’s Best Cellar Doors in 2020, and awarded a 5 Star Winery Rating in The Halliday Wine Companion 2021. Sip on Mitchelton’s finest wines whilst learning about the Estate’s 50-year history and the stories behind the iconic Tower.

Whilst staying in Mitchelton Airstream Hotel, guests will be treated to a delicious breakfast hamper from Mitchelton’s Provedore, and can choose to either dine at the Muse Restaurant or order a delicious dinner pack from The Provedore to cook and enjoy in their Airstream.

As the Airstreams are a permanent fixture, each will be fully equipped with water, plumbing, electricity and gas for the comfort of all guests. The minibar will be stocked with a selection of delicious snacks and Mitchelton wines to purchase and enjoy in the Airstream.
