New Dishes at Red Pepper Indian Restaurant in Melbourne
Red Pepper Indian Restaurant is an authentic and affordable Indian restaurant in the Melbourne CBD with a number of popular signature dishes, and it has recently added some fabulous new dishes to the menu. Popular dishes such as Butter Chicken and Sarhoin Da Saag have been features of the menu over the years, with other popular dishes including Kadhai Paneer, Bhang Chicken, Goat Curry, Goan Pork Belly Vindaloo, and Kashmiri Lamb Roganjosh, to name a few. An ever evolving menu means there are new dishes and seasonal changes often added to the menu.
Goan Pork Belly Vindaloo with Peter Bouchier premium pork belly is a crowd favourite.
Some recent delicious additions to the menu include Punjabi Khadi Pakora, served on a banana leaf with tasty fritters and a tangy yoghurt sauce (a North Indian favourite). A taste and texture triumph.
Meen Pollichathu features quality fish in a banana leaf wrap (I enjoyed Swordfish) and a spicy sauce, a mouthwatering Kerala South Indian dish. Red Pepper is a fabulous restaurant for its seafood dishes.
Rara Chicken is a dry style chicken curry (in contrast to Butter Chicken), another rich Punjabi dish.
Also Baingan Bharta Roasted Eggplant is a smokey roasted creamy dish and vegetarian favourite (also popular in North India).
