Lunch at Re-Imagined T'Gallant Vineyard
Iconic Mornington winery T’Gallant Vineyard has reopened on the Mornington Peninsula, bigger and better than ever, with a new look Tuscan feel. We were invited to a media event enjoying wine tasting at Cellar Door and lunch at La Baracca dining room.
La Baracca bringing elevated but approachable Italian dining.
Revamped Cellar Door beckons.
Copper bartop is a showstopper.
Rustic and warm, T'Gallant is even more inviting than ever, of course with a top class offering of food and top notch wines. This has always been a mainstay of the Mornington Peninsula, but is now scaling new heights.
Kudos to Bergman & Co, who were the driving force behind the design and renovation. The Cellar Door is a touch of class with copper bartop, and high tables, along with soft lighting.
The Tuscan feel extends to charming Spuntino Bar and La Baracca dining room, which had it's fire bringing warmth on a cosy winter afternoon.
Wagyu Bresaola Carpaccio was a highlight.
Pumpkin Risotto was on point.
Drool worthy Roman-style pizzas.
While there has been an upscale of note in the design and build of its five major spaces, T'Gallant still serves up approachable rustic fare. Elevated dishes, but no pretension here.
Italian food including crowd favourite Roman-style pizzas and pastas to salivate over, Wagyu Bresaola Carpaccio, Burrata, Crispy Cauliflower, Roast Pumpkin Risotto, and Italian Donuts, are a winery visitor's delight. There's some savvy in the dishes , perfect food to pair with T'Gallant standout wines such as Prosecco, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
Italian donuts were fun.
We love the new design which takes advantage of the sweeping views of the Estate, the stylish colours and fittings which complement the surroundings, and the overarching Tuscan feel.
The perfect winery destination for a catch up with friends, date, or family visit with the kids.
