We attended an exclusive launch dinner for Prosciutto di Carpegna PDO at leading Melbourne restaurant Bar Carolina, showcasing this premium prosciutto in its deliciousness and versatility. Afterwards we were given an epic Picnic Hamper featuring Prosciutto di Carpegna PDO products.
A specially curated dinner at Bar Carolina in South Yarra was a touch of class and plenty of fun, and we were treated to four sumptuous courses showcasing the deliciousness and versatility of Prosciutto di Carpegna PDO. The night started with welcome Aperitivo before we moved on to the main meal.
We enjoyed incredible courses that featured Prosciutto di Carpegna PDO such as Burrata, Risotto Ai Funghi, Barramundi In Crosta, Pollo Arrosto, and Torta al Ricotta. All paired with exceptional wines.
Apart from sampling it was fabulous to learn about the origins of this incredible product.

Prosciutto di Carpegna PDO is a raw and cured charcuterie product obtained through the processing of fresh legs of pigs belonging to the Large White Italiana, Landrace Italiana, and Duroc Italiana breeds. The production territory of Prosciutto di Carpegna PDO is within the territory of the Municipality of Carpegna. The pigs used for production must be born, reared, slaughtered and processed in The Marches, Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna regions.
