Rustic Italian Breakfast at Ms Jackson
Looking for a top-notch breakfast experience in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs? We had the pleasure of celebrating the launch of Ms Jackson (@breakfastatmsjackson) Rustic Italian Breakfast experience!
This popular Doncaster East restaurant is now serving breakfast on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with renowned Chef Carlo Sciarpa at the helm. Chef Carlo, who led Caffe e Cucina in the 90s and owned Pure Italian in Balwyn, brings authentic Italian flair to the table.
We opted for the more traditional Italian dishes, and they were simply outstanding. The rustic Pork and fennel sausage with cannellini beans & fried eggs was a hearty delight, while the Baked eggs, chorizo, feta, and garlic bruschetta offered rich, bold flavors that hit all the right notes.
A surprising favorite was the pizza fritta with scrambled eggs, pancetta, and rocket. The crispy pizza base was perfect for breakfast, and the generous portion of eggs and indulgent pancetta made it a standout dish.
The Breakfast bruschetta with poached eggs, cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella on sourdough was another vibrant, fresh showstopper that we couldn’t get enough of!
Paired with quality and ethical St Remio coffee, it made for an exceptional morning. We also couldn’t resist trying a few of their cakes, which were as delicious as they looked.
The French Toast, toasties, and paninis caught our eye too, and we’ll definitely be back to explore more of the all-day breakfast menu.
With a classy, welcoming vibe and top-notch service, Ms Jackson is a must-visit wine bar/restaurant for both breakfast and dinner!
