One Thousand Melburnians dressed in white attend the city’s first edition of Dîner en Blanc
The first edition of Dîner en Blanc attracted around 1000 cultural enthusiasts, dining and partying in style on the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre’s grassed area. This was a night of firsts, as the inaugural Melbourne Dîner en Blanc was the first large scale event to be held in this wonderful location.
The World Loves Melbourne was invited along (Sam and Sid) to experience the wonder of Diner En Blanc, a fabulous event held in cities around the world.
The epicurean event has become world-famous for the spectacular visuals of its guests all dressed in white who gather at the venue, which is kept secret until the very last minute. The Melbourne event was no exception!
Melbourne’s guests were entertained by Allegro Music, drank Champagne Pommery and enjoyed photo opportunities with a sleek, white Maserati.
The World Loves Melbourne imbibed the stunning visual aspects of Melbourne in white, the delectable food (diners bring their own), and the outstanding entertainment. We danced the night away in a party chic atmosphere...
