An exciting new venture in the culinary world is the launch of Jamie's Ministry of Food Mobile Kitchen in Victoria.
I love it when people with personal success look to change industry's and culture, and challenge the status quo. Jamie Oliver spearheads a food revolution where "sublime dining" and "healthy eating" worlds can collide.
I rocked up to the launch of the Victorian Mobile Kitchen with a public celebration that took place amongst a pop-up vegetable patch at Federation Square.
The Mobile Kitchen will travel around Victoria over the coming two and a half years in an effort to spread Jamie's message and teach Victorian's how to get back to basics in the kitchen.
Jamie’s Ministry of Food Ambassador, Ian Curley together with Matt Preston, hosted the event which included a live cooking demonstration. Special guests included The Hon. David Davis (Victorian Minister for Health), Mark Olive, (Black Olive Catering) and Lola Berry (leading Australian Nutritionist) who prepared Jamie’s Frozen Fruit Smoothies and One Cup Pancakes with Tropical Yoghurt and Mango. (I've got the recipe's and will attempt to cook these up at home).

I was gob smacked by the scope of the interior of the kitchen. This is one serious cooking facility!
