Julia Morris at The Palms at Crown with Westinghouse

JuliaMorris 19

Julia Morris was the star attraction at The Palms in Crown with a captivating performance that had the audience enjoying high grade stand up comedy.

The show, called "I don't want your honest feedback" was a hilarious look at how people (friends and strangers) freely give their feedback to us all, often when unwanted. How bad is unsolicited feedback?

The evening began with The World Loves Melbourne (David and Jeremy) being chauffeur driven to Crown; the only way to arrive to a concert! Julia Morris is an Ambassador of Westinghouse, and we were delightfully entertained by Westinghouse staff with pre-drinks and canapes in Lumia Bar at Crown. The World Loves Melbourne has enjoyed several events with Westinghouse including fabulous nights on the set of The Block, where we checked out the clever cooking range and cutting edge technology.

The World Loves Melbourne (David and Jeremy) availed ourselves of the fine food (sample below) and wine, with a group of media on hand to imbibe the occasion. The GH Mumm champagne went down a treat.

Richelle Barker from Westinghouse spoke to us about the traits of Julia Morris as someone who is real, authentic and natural; a great fit for Westinghouse as a brand.

Canapes were top notch with arancini, cold rolls, fish and chips, gourmet pies in abundance. All enjoyed in plush surroundings.

Julia Morris was superb entertainment, and we were thankful for our seats in the dress circle booth. Fascinating was the inclusion of much comical family life in Julia's material, and it was this aspect that endeared us to Julia even more than ever before. How can you not love Julia Morris?

Julia Morris used a "slide show" as part of her comedy, in fact her "camera roll" from her smartphone; normally "slide shows" struggle with audiences but not in this case. The laughs flowed with Julia bringing in her TV series, travel, magazine exposures, and comical family situations in weaving a tapestry of mirth.

After the show we returned home in our chauffeur driven limo. Thanks to Westinghouse for a highly entertaining and enjoyable evening.
