A Day at The Australian Open with Emirates
The World Loves Melbourne was invited to a day at The Australian Open in the Emirates Hospitality Suite. With hospitality par excellence it was a day to remember!
Emirates is the official airline of The Australian Open, flying to over 150 destinations in over 80 counties and Partner of the tournament. Of course the journey is as important as the destination and Emirates delights passengers with gourmet meals, award winning entertainment and superior onboard service.
Canapes and champagne on arrival.
G.H. MUMM champagne was the perfect drop for a summer of tennis.
Highly impressive, the Emirates Hospitality Suite was spacious with loads of natural light and a superb Melbourne vista. Flower arrangements were stylish and on point.
Samantha and I enjoyed the best of tennis and lavish Emirates food, wine and impeccable service.
It was great to be able to watch some compelling tennis on Rod Laver Arena and we enjoyed the best of seats. With clouds threatening the Rod Laver Arena management decided to close the roof. Surely one of the best places to watch tennis in the world.
Back to the Emirates Hospitality Suite where we indulged in a sumptuous lunch.
Choice beef with Yorkshire Pudding. Would you like gravy in your Yorkshire Pudding?
Emirates also featured top notch Australian seafood.
After lunch it was back again to Rod Laver Arena to see Venue Williams in action, as well as a match involving Grigor Dimitrov.
Being the first Grand Slam of the year, Emirates set the tone in terms of style and elegance, as well as fun, hosting at The Australian Open. Thanks Emirates!
