Enjoying City Class Hospitality with Melbourne City
Being an A-League fan I was excited to be the guest of Melbourne City, as part of City’s VIP area City Class for their match at AAMI Park against Adelaide United. On a brilliant sunny Melbourne day it was a pleasure to enjoy premium seating to watch the game and partake of the corporate hospitality. The City Class experience is available as a premium membership, so get on board.
Excellent catering throughout. This is a generous offering for the money - in our opinion great value.
City Class features include: gourmet grazing menu and food station, access to cash bar, half time snacks and premium L2 seating. First of all, AAMI Park is extremely accessible by public transport or even by car. I was surprised by the size of the corporate lounge on level 2. I was also highly impressed by the sheer amount of catering throughout my experience.
Carvery station was a highlight. Melt in your mouth chicken and salads.
Not only was there a carving station (until the match was underway) but wait staff were constantly walking around with tray of delicious food, from lamb rolls to large crumbed prawns. Plus there was a convivial atmosphere of fans enjoying the game and staff keen to please. There's also a range of beverages available at the cash bar. Pies, sausage rolls and quiche at half time is always a highlight.
We arrived early and were able to procure a table by the glass. The lounge was pumping as the game began, but I elected to take these photos early on because I didn't want to be intrusive with my SLR camera.
We loved the option of watching the game behind glass as well as out in our premium seating. I like to grab a table by the window and perch with mates as we check out the game in front of us, enjoying the hospitality. But there's also nothing like catching the atmosphere of the game by being outside in the seats. So we did both. And you have that option.

The fit out inside the lounge is brilliant - including leather couches. Manchester City and Adelaide United played out a draw after a keen contest. Both are alive with a chance to make the upcoming finals.
