We recently experienced P.J. O’Brien’s amazing dishes and beers ourselves, from their exciting new menu.
Then take a short walk to catch a world class show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival @melbournecomedyfestival. The laughs kept coming as we recently experienced a couple of amazing shows ourselves being Ali McGregor Late-Nite Variety-Nite Night at Fairfax Studio @artscentremelbourne. Ali was on fire with her side-splitting show embracing highlights from other comedy acts from the Festival.
We also walked across to The Festival Club at Max Watt’s venue in Swanston St for another unforgettable comedy show featuring 10 amazing comedy acts.
After an incredible night of top notch food and entertainment it was time to go back to the premium @adinasouthbank where we had booked in earlier. Adina Southbank is a standout @adinahotels hotel in close proximity to the city. Studio rooms are great value and the facilities are first class (incl open plan, kitchenette, work desk and spacious bathroom). City view was stunning.

Southgate is a stunning precinct on the river where culture and cuisine unite. Ticks all the boxes such as great proximity to the CBD (literally a walk across the bridge!), easy to get to, so much variety on offer, the perfect place for dinner and drinks before (or after) a show, the buzz of the promenade, the quality on offer, the views of Melbs, and being on the doorstep of the arts precinct of Melbourne with so many wonderful shows and festivals, like MICF!
