Jade Fox Restaurant in Doncaster East
Jade Fox Restaurant has been making waves in Doncaster East, a modern spacious restaurant overlooking iconic local hangout Jackson Court. A cafe by day and modern Thai restaurant by night this is a modern flexible dining destination.
Coffee is excellent at Jade Fox.
Many people have commented on the excellence of service and this was our experience too. Modern decor and attractive lighting and greenery greet the diner, as does the pretty mural on the wall. Parking is easy with car park across the road as well as Aldi car park next door (I always visit Aldi anyway). By the way, check out our Best Thai restaurants in Melbourne article.
Try the Whole Barramundi (house special), Red Ocean Sunset with red curry and seafood, Mrs Hermit scambled eggs, Mushroom Fettuccine (Italian surprise on the menu), Salt and Chilli Squid Salad, or School of Prawns. Curry options abound including Green Curry, Massaman Curry, or the Lychee Red Duck Curry, or try the Pad Prik Pao with pipis option.
Jackson Court in all its glory.
Other showstoppers include Pepper Chilli Pork Ribs and Crispy Pork Belly.
Not only is the food delicious but there's a reputation for pristine presentation. In my opinion diners are looking for a great overall experience, not just price or taste, and Jade Fox brings a touch of class.
While I was there I noticed several groups celebrating a special occasion. Already Jade Fox has made an impression with locals as the place to come for celebration (ok I assumed they were locals). I haven't had a feast at Jade Fox yet but early impressions are positive.
