Whisky Dinner with Morris at Archer’s Restaurant
We enjoyed a top notch 4 course Father’s Day Whisky Dinner at Archer's restaurant in Marriott Melbourne Docklands with Morris Whisky, a premium award-winning Australian whisky producer. This dinner was part of a series of dinners highlighting premium whiskies from award-winning Australian distilleries.
We began the evening with a fabulous Whisky Sour in Ada's, the hotel's main bar. We understand the bar is famous for its whisky cart that is rolled out in the evenings.
Head Distiller Darren Peck from Morris Whisky shared with us some amazing travel yarns as well as stories around the meticulous distillation process and complexities of this fine Australian whisky.
Head Chef Ryan Flaherty (ex Fat Duck and Stokehouse) did an exceptional job with an elevated food offering that paired perfectly with the Morris Whisky.

This dinner was a triumph with superb hosting, engagement with Darren Peck himself, an elevated food offering with perfect pairings, and the ability to make new friends. Thanks to Harvey Taylor and Marriott Melbourne Docklands for the invite and kudos to the staff the made it happen.
