Sunday Lunch at Cinder Celebrating Father’s Day
We had the best Father’s Day at Cinder with a delicious shared grazing menu curated by Victorian Chef of the Year Jake Furst, working wonders with the Josper Grill. Sunday Lunch is available at Cinder every Sunday at an affordable price, featuring fresh seasonal ingredients.
A warm and welcoming atmosphere of a 150 year old building with loads of character, and engaging and attentive staff, enhanced the experience.
A Whisky Highball was the perfect start to Father’s Day.
First course impressed with fresh quality seafood; Tempura Pacific Oyster with squid ink aioli, Pacific Oyster with gin tonic dressing, Split King Prawns with chorizo salsa, and Spicy Ume, urchin butter scallops.
Main course was delicious and a touch of class featuring Altair Grass Fed Wagyu Steak marble score 5+, Wood roasted pumpkin risottowith Persian feta and pine nuts, Salmon on the Josper, and house sides.
Wines from Penfolds were the perfect pairing including the Penfolds Cellar Reserve Chardonnay 2018 and the Penfolds BIN 128 Shiraz 2019.
Dessert kept up the high standard with a delicious Pina Colada crème brûlée
Every time I’ve visited Cinder I’ve had a memorable experience and this feast with the family was extra memorable. The service is top notch and they have exceeded expectations every time.
