The Common Ground social project is not token but ostensibly underpins the business.
Much of the produce for Square One comes from The Common Ground Project community regenerative farm in Freshwater Creek. They also provide training and pathways for the disadvantaged and refugees. 10% of profits from Square One go to The Common Ground Project.
These dishes are elevated and challenge my mindset regarding cafe food. I also feel they provide great value. Also check out the upstairs space for takeaway coffee and treats.
Is this really a cafe? Nathan Toleman and The Mulberry Group continue to break new ground.
