Luxe Beverly Rooftop Launches with 270 Degree View
Much anticipated Beverly is finally here, with South Yarra's newest sky-high venue recently opening its doors to the public. Situated 24 floors atop Goldfields House, the highly anticipated rooftop welcomes long lunches that become dinners and one cocktail turned into many.
The long awaited rooftop features an unseen 270-degree view of Melbourne city's heart. A new and welcomed perspective, encompassing iconic Melbourne locations like: the Yarra River, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Rod Laver Arena and Port Melbourne bay.
The venue features an open kitchen and bar, a reflection of Beverly’s core values of transparency in what they serve with a focus on ethically sourced ingredients. With the finest quality of local produce at the forefront, Beverly’s menu nods to southern Californian influences with a modern Australian take.
Guests can graze on bar snacks like; Bluefin Tartare served with Chilli Yuzu Mayo topped on a Tostada or for something more playful, try the Crumbed Mac n Cheese with Truffle Gouda topped with Mornay Sauce. For smaller plates, you can expect fresh and seasonal plates like; Prawn Ceviche served with Jalapeno Cream and topped with Coriander Mojo and Macadamias. Larger plates follow suit to include; Marron and Spanner Crab Pasta topped with Shrimp Bisque and finished off with Preserved Tomatoes.
Mitchell & Eades (of Grill Americano, Carlton Wine Room and Mr Miyagi fame) are the interior masterminds behind the impressive space. Mitchell & Eades CEO Samantha Eades says "the space was inspired by Glamour meets Earthy and Outdoors.” The rooftop also features a retractable glass ceiling to comfortably cater for Melbourne’s quick weather transformations.
Beverly embraces local artisans and flavours, carrying this mantra across into the well thought drinks menu. Curated to explore locally sourced products, approachable Australian biodynamic and organic wines dominate the wine list and Beverly's take on familiar classics make up the majority of the cocktail menu.
Guests will visit for a flawless drink and dining experience while sitting comfortably in the outdoor lounges, bars and intimate table settings that sprawl across the rooftop.
